Excellium Diesel helps drivers with each tank filling

(prcenter.de) Berlin - more kilometer with same level of fuel in the tank: With Excellium Diesel that is now possible. The mineral oil enterprise TOTAL introduces the fuel tested already successfully in other European countries on 30 October also in Germany. Apart from a higher mileage Excellium Diesel offers still further important advantages: The travelling comfort is improved by clear noise decrease and the environment by fewer exhaust gases is preserved.
For the introduction of the new Premium fuel on 30 October first the first 200 TOTALLY gas stations are equipped with Excellium gasoline pumps. Until end of the yearly 350 of the thousand red gas stations will offer to Excellium Diesels.
A comparison with other Premium fuels is however hardly possible, because Excellium Diesel offers advantages without example: Cars, which drive with Excellium Diesel, can get along in everyday life traffic with up to four per cent less fuel than with conventional Diesel. This is the result of tests on test stands, round distances and motorways. Approximately 100 vehicles of different types were in the use. Altogether more than 350,000 test kilometers were completed. The vehicles, which had refuelled Excellium Diesels, got ahead. From this range increase above all many driver will profit. Completely generally applies: With the new fuel in the tank drivers will have in the future more rarely to the gasoline pump.
Increase in value for more preservation of value
“With Excellium Diesel TOTAL meets the desires many German drivers, says Bruno Daude Lagrave, the director of gas station of TOTALLY Germany. “Inquiries resulted in that 38 per cent of the drivers more low-pollution Diesel fuel wish themselves. 20 per cent expect a smaller consumption, 18 per cent a better protective relay for motor. TOTALLY reacts to these desires with the introduction of Excellium Diesel to Germany.”
Daude Lagrave stresses that the customers with the new Diesel fuel for a slightly higher price a genuine increase in value is ordered: “In addition to smaller consumption are preserved the engine and the life span of the vehicle is extended. And not least the driver may be safe, by fewer exhaust gases to environmental protection to contribute”, so the director of gas station.
So far on the average ten per cent of the energy, which are contained in a litre fuel, only are used, in order to master engine resistances. Additives in the Excellium, the additives in such a way specified reduce this mechanical load of the pistons. They increase the Leistungskraft of the injection pump. Thus engine performance and the fuel consumption improve sink.
Besides Excellium contains cleaning active substances, which positively affect the function and the life span of the engine. In tests could be determined with diesel engines as well as no more deposits, if these were refuelled with Excellium. In addition additives prevent the corrosion. That means: With Excellium the engines live longer. Even for older vehicles thus the refuelling of this high-quality new fuel is worthwhile itself.
Less consumption - better environmental protection
Apart from this value receiving characteristics improve by the employment of Excellium also the environmental impacts. The pollutant emissions lie particularly because of smaller consumption lower. In tests with older vehicles the emissions sank even over up to 25 per cent. In particular the loads by soot particles decrease. And because Excellium Diesel has a Cetane Number higher around four points, also the engine noise reduces substantially. Thus model-dependently with cold weather startings over up to 37 per cent smaller noise levels one measured - without smallest power loss of the engine.
With Excellium Diesel TOTAL supports the advantages of pollution free diesel engined vehicles, which constitute already today half of all new permissions. Because diesel engines less fuel than petrol engines use, they contribute in such a way to meaningful handling scarce energy resources and a discharge of the environment. Excellium Diesel strengthens these advantages again substantially. Drivers can improve these advantages further. Because actual results of consumption depend always also on the motor vehicle type, its equipment, the traffic conditions and the individual handling.
